Choose Your Drop-Off Location to Easily Retrieve Your Reports
Choose from a variety of convenient drop-off locations to securely store your diagrams and documents with Cloudockit. With 11 different options available, you can ensure that you and your team receive up-to-date information exactly where it's needed.
Steps to Generate Cloudockit Reports
Step 1. Log In: Access your Cloudockit dashboard by navigating to the login page on the Cloudockit website. Enter your credentials (username/email and password) to log in securely.
Step 2. Choose Environment: After logging in, you'll be presented with a dashboard where you can manage your cloud environments. Select the specific cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware) for which you want to generate the report.
Step 3. Configure Report:
• Report Type: Determine the type of report you need based on your objectives. Cloudockit offers various report templates such as Infrastructure, Security, Network, Compliance, and Cost Optimization.
• Report Format: Choose the format for your report. Options typically include PDF, Word, Excel, and HTML formats.
• Content Options: Customize the content of your report by selecting the specific components you want to include. This could range from virtual machines (VMs), networks, security groups, IAM roles, to storage Components.
Step 4. Generate: Once you've configured the report settings according to your requirements, initiate the report generation process. Cloudockit will automatically analyze your cloud environment and generate a comprehensive report based on the selected parameters.
Step 5. Download or Share: Once the report generation is complete, you'll have the option to download the report to your local system or share it directly with your team or stakeholders. Choose the appropriate action based on your needs.

Powerful Azure compliance rules engine
Cloudockit’s compliance rules engine lets you choose from a wide range of standard industry best practices or create your own to monitor your Azure subscriptions.
Data Compilation and Analysis Workflow
Data Compilation from Cloudockit Report
Start by thoroughly cleaning and assembling all relevant data extracted from the Cloudockit Report’s Components, Locations, and Warnings tabs. This initial step involves gathering detailed information about each component used, the geographical locations involved, and any warnings flagged—laying a solid foundation for in-depth analysis.
Individual Reports Management
Once your data is compiled, organize it by creating dedicated spreadsheets for each report. Separate the data into distinct tabs for Components, Locations, and Warnings to keep things tidy and manageable. At the same time, build a Master Spreadsheet that consolidates all the individual datasets into one centralized repository—making cross-report comparisons and overall analysis straightforward.
Table Design and Filtering Enhancement
Improve the usability of your spreadsheets by designing clear, intuitive tables. Incorporate dynamic filtering options that allow users to quickly sift through data by specific criteria—whether they’re looking at particular components, pinpointing locations, or isolating warnings. This thoughtful table design transforms raw data into an accessible and powerful analytical tool.
Pivot Table Integration for In-depth Analysis
Elevate your analysis by using Pivot Tables to dive deep into the data. Summarize and compare key metrics like warning severity, resource allocation, and geographical distribution. These Pivot Tables not only simplify complex datasets but also help uncover critical insights that inform smarter decision-making.
Visualization with Pie Charts for Enhanced Insights
Finally, create separate pie charts for Locations, Components, and Warnings. These visualizations offer a quick, intuitive look at how data is distributed across different categories, making it easier for stakeholders to grasp the significance of each data segment and to support strategic planning.
Comprehensive Cloudockit Analysis Presentation Workflow
Executive Summary of Warnings
Kick off your presentation by developing an Executive Summary that brings together all the warnings from your reports. Group these warnings by their criticality levels and types to give stakeholders a clear, high-level overview of potential risks and issues that need attention.
Summary of Warnings Pie Chart
Complement the written summary with a pie chart that visually breaks down the warnings by severity. This visual aid provides an immediate snapshot of the warning landscape, helping prioritize which issues require urgent focus.
Sectional Analysis of Warning Types
Next, perform a detailed sectional analysis that dives into the specific types of warnings and their descriptions. Organize this analysis to show the frequency and characteristics of each warning type. Enhance this section with a pie chart that visualizes the distribution of different warning types, offering a clearer picture of recurring issues.
Table of Components by Category
Construct a detailed table that categorizes components by their respective types. This table not only helps in understanding the composition of resources in the report but also serves as a quick reference for identifying key trends. Follow up with a pie chart that visually represents this distribution, making the data even more digestible.
Table of Resources by Location
Lastly, create a table that lists resources according to their geographical locations. This approach highlights resource allocation patterns and regional dependencies. Supplement this data with a pie chart that clearly illustrates the distribution of resources across locations, aiding in the identification of hotspots and strategic planning for regional management.
